Preparing your informaiton:

Preparing your home office is important. Not only does it make your daily routines easier, it also creates an organized attitude. The first step to take when organizing your home office is to arrange all your important documents and information in an organized manner.

Starting with your Your Online Business information, enter that into your "Business Information" notebook or file. Be sure to include your URL, your login details and any important details relating to your Your home based internet marketing businesst.

The next task you need to complete is to update your E-mail address book with any e-mail addresses that relate to your business. Your Up lines e-mail address should be here if possible. You can also include e-mail addresses for friends, and home based internet marketing businesst associates who can assist you in your business growth.

In your third notebook/file, you can now write a list of people you know, both online and offline. This list includes the people you will approach and tell about your Your Online Business business. Do not be afraid to tell people about what you do. If you believe in your business, be proud to show that belief. This list can include family, friends, workmates, school friends, and any people you know and are comfortable speaking to. At this time, you are only going to be writing these down. Do not approach them yet, we will get to that soon.

If you have not done so already, read the New Member information page then review and join some of the programs from your Referral ID page. Be sure to add all the information of programs you join into either of your 2 main notebooks. If the programs are income generating (earn $$$) programs, add their information to the "Business Information" notebook/file, and if they are promotional/advertising programs, add them to the "Advertising Information" notebook/file.

Now that you have everything organized you can begin to look into the future.

It is also a good idea to read our information page to New Members. Not only should you understand the information presented there to help you use your new site, but it's good to know what's in there so you can direct your Referrals there if they need help or have questions.

Do not feel bad if you get a little confused when trying to understand how Your Online Business works. By spending time reading through the site, your knowledge and understanding will grow.

TOOLS OF THE TRADE

Before you begin to promote and build your Internet home based internet marketing businesst, it is best that you prepare yourself with the necessary tools of the trade. Like all forms of business, A successful Internet Marketer will always have a selection of tools at their disposal, ready to be used at any times. The recommended selection of tools includes the following:

A Calculator: Used for calculating incomes and other figures.

Removable storage for your PC. It is recommended that you keep backups of all your files. With backups, if you lose all the data on your hard drive (s), you will have a backup handy of all your vital business documents.

A lined Pad: Always try and have a pad close to hand in case you need to jot down anything quickly. A pad is recommended over loose paper. With loose paper it is easy to misplace them, with a pad, they are all together in one place.

An unlined pad: Unlined pads are great if you need to draw matrix layouts or brainstorm when promoting.

Stationary: These should include pencils, pens, highlight markers, erasers and a stapler.

File storage: As you join new programs, you will probably find yourself with more papers and print outs. It is a great idea to have a file system of some kind in place, so that each program is kept separate from the rest. This way, you can put all the information regarding each program together, making it easier to find and easier to understand.

Calendar: This is used to mark down dates for payments, meetings, classes and other vital dates.

White Board or similar: These are used to remind you of important notes. If you have a meeting to attend, a fee to pay or a program to join, a whiteboard is a great place to write it down.

3 small notebooks: You can also use text files on your PC or floppy also. The point of having 3 notebooks or files is so you can easily manage your program details. It is suggested that the 3 notebooks/files be titled as follows.

The first notebook is for holding all your information on "earn $$$" programs you join. These programs are ones where you earn money. Be sure to include your URL's, Login details and all important information. This way, when you need that information, it is accessible to you. A suggested name for this notebook is called "Business Information".

The second notebook is for holding all the information for your promotional and advertising programs. Programs that you use to promote your business are included in this notebook. Like the first notebook, include your URL's, Login details and all important information. A suggested name for this notebook is "Advertising Information".

This third notebook is for you to keep notes, and to keep track of Ads, banner names and locations and other important information that will not go into the first 2 notebooks.

If you do not have those things listed above, do not worry. These things can help you be more organized, so you are able to run your promotions more efficiently. As you are able to obtain them, do so. Until then, keep motivated, organized and enthusiastic!
